NIVBL Victorious over NIPBA Vets

The Annual Challenge match between NIVBL and NIPBA Vets was contested at Limavady Bowling Club last Friday 29 August. The weather being glorious and the Limavady green superb, contributing to a very competitive match.

The Provincials having won the Trophy, (with bragging rights), for the last 3 years were keen to consolidate a 4th victory. However, VBL lead for most of the way and held their nerve over the last couple of ends to narrowly secure victory by 96-92.

Many thanks to VBL representative clubs, Ballymena, CI-Knock, Mossley, Old Bleach, Ulster Transport and Whitehead. VBL very much appreciated NIPBA Vets for their hospitality and Limavady BC for hosting the match.
