Lyttle Cup
Lyttle Cup was contested between Whitehead & Ballymena at Belmont Bowling Club last Friday morning, with Whitehead Team 1 scoring 18 shots to Banbridge Team 1, 11 shots and Whitehead Team 2, with 26 shots to Banbridge Team 2, 10 shots. Whitehead lifting the Lyttle Cup with a combined score, 44 to 21.
Congratulations to Whitehead and well done to Ballymena on reaching the final and entertaining the spectators to a fine match.

Stevenson Cup
The Stevenson Cup final was a close affair with Lurgan Red winning by 38 shots to CI Knock 28. The game between Team 1’s was narrowly won by Lurgan Red 16 – 14, whilst Team 2 went in favour of Lurgan by 22 to 14.

Thornton Cup
Banbridge was just a stronger outfit against Dromore in the final of the Thornton Cup. Both Banbridge Teams scored in the low 20’s, whereas Dromore recorded only single digits, Final score 41 Dromore 13.

Hatch Cup
Banbridge are this year’s winners of the Hatch Cup by 34 shots to 30 victory over Donaghadee, played at Hilden BC on Friday 18 August. This match was a close affair with each Club securing a rink win, with the combined score going in favour of Banbridge. Donaghadee Team 1 won by 19-14 and Banbridge Team 2 won by 20-11.
